Donations Support our military men and women
**If you would like to sponsor a box of candles that will be sent to our troops overseas along with a note from your family, organization or business, please visit our sponsorship page.**
My candle business started as a way to support our troops who are serving overseas in the Global War on Terrorism. I have donated more than 5,000 candles to our troops in Iraq as well as the military hospital in Germany.
The response from our troops has been overwhelming and requests have continued to multiply. Through the sales of my candles as well as your generous donations, we will be able to continue to make the days of our troops a little brighter.
Your monetary donation can help to provide... ~ Production costs of candles to send overseas ~ Shipping costs to our soldiers overseas ($51.70 will cover cost of 70 pounds worth of candles….approximately 43 candles) ~ Purchase items needed for care package items and shipping priority mail ~ Purchase greeting cards so I may include hand written notes for the men who get the candles ~ Cover costs of wax, jars, lids, wicks and oils ~ Cover any leftover costs of military sponsorships ~ Provide FRG functions with donated soaps or candles for fundraising efforts
We are also in need of: ~ Greetings cards or blank note cards/stationary ~ Clear packing tape ~ Packing peanuts ~ Bubble wrap ~ Return address labels for candles/soaps ~ Monetary donations for wax or other candle related equipment We greatly appreciate your support and know that our troops overseas do as well! *************** To everyone who donated this past year in 2007, thank you so much for everything you have done! The response to needing baby food jars to make some of the Iraq candles out of was overwhelming! Some of you are still sending them this year already and we can never say how much that is appreciated! We were able to light up many lives from all across the United States to many foreign countries! I could not have done any of this without the monetary donations and empty jars! It is a group effort now and I can not take all the responsibility for any of this. We have stuck together, done such great things AND we have shown that no matter whose side you are on in views of the war, that our troops are being remembered for all the sacrifices they are giving! Thank you again to each and every one of you. We are always in need of shipping supplies and jars/wax to send boxes to Iraq. Your donations will go a long way in helping us get these boxes out overseas and spread out. Thank you so very much for your contribution!
